Don’t Wheel It, Pump It

Since 1980, we’ve been saying “yes” to the challenging pours others won’t or can’t take on.

Family-owned and operating from our Tomago and Dubbo depots, we service high-rise, commercial, civil, mining, industrial and residential projects Australia-wide. Our extensive fleet and decades of experience help us deliver on even the most demanding pumping requirements.

Line pump

A line pump sits where the agitator trucks can get to and pushes concrete through steel and rubber line to the pour: basement slabs poured from the street, pools with no side access, tunnels, tank bases inside live plants. Our trailer fleet runs from 22 to 102 cubic metres an hour, with high pressure units for the long runs, and we supply the pipeline and the linesmen to lay, clamp and strip it.

Specialist concrete

Some pours do not fit a standard setup. We have pushed concrete 650 metres through the Sydney Metro tunnel, run 1,550 metres of line into underground coal mine drifts, poured bridge headstocks from a barge mounted placing boom, and engineered freestanding ballast frames where a boom had nothing to stand on. If the pour is unusual, that is the part we enjoy.

Dry hire

Contractors with their own operators can hire equipment from the fleet without our crew. Availability, terms and which units are offered depend on the job, so call and talk it through.

Sectors we work in

The fleet was built up servicing Hunter Valley mining and it shows in how we run: inductions current, equipment maintained to site standards, operators used to working under supervision regimes. The same discipline turns up on a house slab.

Tell us about the pour

Volume, date, and what the access looks like. We will come back with the right unit for the job, and if the site is tricky we will look at it first.
